OXFORD – Nancy J. (Ryan) Stelmach, 58, of South Houston, TX, and formerly of Oxford, died Wednesday, February 3, 2016, after a short illness. She is survived by her daughter, Nicole J. Bates of Sterling, CT; her mother, Betsy A. (Emond) Bonneau of Oxford; her father, John E. Ryan and his wife Charmaine of Putnam, CT; two brothers, John Ryan Jr. and his wife Diana of North Brookfield, and Donald M. Ryan and his wife Charlotte of Quinebaug, CT; two sisters, Tracy Brayton and her husband Jerry of Oxford, and Beth Perritt and her husband Bobby of South Houston, TX; and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by step-father, Joseph Bonneau. She was born on June 24, 1957, in Worcester. She graduated from South High School in Worcester.
Nancy had a passion for horses and participated in horse shows throughout her life. She showed her horse Goldie for over 20 years. She also enjoyed riding her motorcycle with her sister Beth.
Memorial calling hours are Sunday, February 28, 2016, from 12-3 p.m. at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. A prayer service will be held on Sunday at 3:00 p.m. at the conclusion of the calling hours.
