OXFORD - Miriam D. "Mimi" (Yeo) Saad, 68, of Orchard Hill Drive, died Monday, January 25, 2010, at the Meadows of Leicester. After years of a successful kidney transplant, Miriam battled colon cancer, which claimed her precious life in a short time. She is survived by four children, Cheryl A. Saad and her husband Kevin of Austin, TX, Marilyn Klawuhn and her husband Robert of Scituate, RI, Tiffany Saad-Scott of Oxford, and her only son, Richard J. Saad Jr. and his wife Kristen of Spencer; thirteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Mimi was the middle child of 9, leaving behind her brothers and sisters, many loving nephews and nieces, and many endearing friends. She was born in Quincy, the daughter of the late Rev. George E. and Dorothea (Simpson) Yeo, and lived most of her life in Oxford. Mimi was a deputy sheriff for Worcester County. She loved having her family together and took great pride in her children and grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by family and friends. The Saad Family would like to thank Allegiance Hospice, the Meadows of Leicester, and the volunteers who made sure Mimi was never alone in her final days. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 30, 2010, at Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. Burial will be private. Memorial calling hours are Friday, Jan. 29, 2010, from 5-9 p.m. at the funeral home. Floral arrangements are accepted and appreciated. Any donations will be accepted by her family with great care.
