OXFORD – Michelle L. (Smith) Blandon, 44, died Sunday, September 5, 2021, at Hartford Hospital in Connecticut. She is survived by two children, Gage S. Perreault of Southbridge, and Mina M. Blandon of Worcester; her mother, Joanna C. (Consolo) Lippe and her husband Thomas of Palm Bay, FL; her father, John A. Smith of Connecticut; two brothers, Scott Smith of Worcester and Brian Smith of Connecticut; her grandson, Alexander J. Perreault of Webster; her cousin, Mandy Small of Worcester; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by a sister, Robin Smith; and an uncle, Joseph Consolo, III. She was born Worcester and lived most of her life in Dudley and Oxford before moving to Southbridge last year.
Michelle worked as a phlebotomist and hairdresser throughout her life. She enjoyed selling on Poshmark, thrift shopping, art, and wiccan culture. She enjoyed collecting peacocks and loved jewelry.
Michelle will be remembered as a very generous person who always gave to others. She enjoyed cooking and buying meals for friends. She loved socializing and had a lasting impact on many people. She was funny and was always smiling. Most importantly, she was a loving mother to her children, which she felt was her main purpose in life.
Memorial calling hours are Monday, September 13, 2021, from 4-6 p.m. at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. A prayer service will be held at 6 p.m. at the conclusion of calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army, 72 Cambridge St. Worcester, MA 01603.
