DUDLEY – Michele L. (McCulley) Box, 54, of Piasta Road, entered God’s Kingdom Friday June 21, 2019, surrounded by the love of her family. She is survived by her husband of five years, Mark D. Box of Dudley; her parents, William McCulley Sr. and his wife Mary of Bellingham, and Carolyn Cotter of Webster; two daughters, Brittany Priest and Stephanie Priest, both of Dudley; three sons, Darrell Box of North Carolina, Bryan Box of Wisconsin, and Christopher Ballou of New York; three siblings, William McCulley of Worcester, Kristin Bazinet of Bellingham, and Jonathan LeBarbre of Canada; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was born in Marlborough, was raised in Berlin, and later moved to Dudley in 2010. She graduated from Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School in 1982.
Mrs. Box was a senior software developer for Advantasure for five years. Previously she worked for EMC and Raytheon. She was a Girl Scout leader in Berlin when her daughters were young. Michele impacted the lives of many people everywhere she went. She leaves behind a tremendous legacy for which her family and friends are blessed to carry on forever. She loved being outdoors, camping, fishing, bird-watching, and especially loved gardening. Most important to her life was spending time with her husband and family.
A memorial service and celebration of her life will be held at 6:00 p.m. on July 28, 2019, at Tower Hill Botanic Garden, 11 French Drive, Boylston. The family requests tie dye t-shirt for attire if possible. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Adam Bullen Memorial Foundation, 24 Charlton St., Oxford, MA 01540. Paradis-Givner Funeral Home in Oxford is directing the arrangements.
