OXFORD - Michael W. Shepeluk, 61, of Henry Marsh Road, died suddenly at home on Tuesday, May 24, 2011. He is survived by a brother, George H. Shepeluk of Champagne, IL; six sisters, Katherine A. Loutrel of Mohamet, IL, Barbara J. Simoncini of Oxford, Sandra L. Evans of Shrewsbury, Mary A. Bruck of Rindge, NH, Ruth E. Miller of Oxford, and Dorothy O. Lopriori of Shrewsbury; a son, Shawn M. Bernard of Dudley; and many nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by a brother, John D. Shepeluk; and a sister, Leslie K. Shepeluk. He was born in Worcester, the son of the late Michael and Olive G. (Stone) Shepeluk, and lived in Worcester before moving to Oxford 27 years ago. He graduated from Burncoat Senior High School in Worcester. Mr. Shepeluk was a mental health worker at Worcester State Hospital for 6 years. Previously, he was an automobile mechanic for many years. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Memorial calling hours will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2011, from 4-6 p.m. at Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. A prayer service will conclude the calling hours at 6:00 p.m. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Children's Hunting Safety Course, c/o Singletary Rod and Gun Club, 300 Sutton Ave., Oxford, MA 01540.
