Michael Hidenfelter

WORCESTER - Michael R. Hidenfelter 59, a long time Worcester resident passed away suddenly at home on December 29, 2015. He is survived by his only child, Jacob M. Gendron and his wife Renee of Oxford; four grandchildren; his former wife of 22 years, Katie Boyd-Hidenfelter of Oxford; three siblings, Dennis R. Hidenfelter and his wife Marty of Worcester, Kenneth R. Hidenfelter and his wife Robin of Worcester, and Nancy W. and her husband John of Sutton.

He is predeceased by his twin sister, Patricia Partovi; his father, Robert P. Hidenfelter; and his mother, Wanda A. Hidenfelter.

Michael worked many years as a union carpenter before establishing a successful construction company, working side by side with his son Jacob. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle as well as being outdoors, hiking, and spending time in the White Mountains.

Calling hours are Friday, January 8, 2016, from 6-8 p.m. at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. A prayer service will be held at 8:00 p.m. on Friday at the conclusion of calling hours.
