Michael Ford

OXFORD – Michael A. Ford, 57, of Burbank Street, died Saturday, December 30, 2017, in his home. He is survived by his mother, Beverly A. (Laganelli) Ford of Oxford; two children, Michael and Alysia Ford; his brother, James R. Ford Sr. and his wife Susan of Dudley; two sisters, Shirley L. Ford and her companion Daniel Quill Jr. of Webster, and Elaine Coulter and her husband Ray of Vineland, NJ; and his fiancée, Geraldine M. Gervais of Oxford. He was predeceased by a brother, Russell G. Ford Jr. of Dudley who died in 2011. He was born in Worcester, son of the late Russell G. Ford Sr., and was a lifelong resident of Oxford.

Michael served in the U.S. Navy. He enjoyed antiquing at yard sales, gardening, caring for his yard, and metal detecting.

A private graveside service will be held at North Cemetery in Oxford. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Ann’s Church, P.O. Box 488, North Oxford, MA 01537. Paradis-Givner Funeral Home in Oxford is directing the arrangements.
