Michael A. Brewer

SPENCER – Michael A. Brewer, 67, of Meadow Road, passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2025, in his home. He is survived by four children, Chris Brewer and his wife Raylene of Universal City, TX, Nicholas Brewer and his partner Cassidy Derkosrofian of Converse, TX, Harrison Brewer and Jennifer Brewer of Charlton; a brother Judson Brewer of Charlton and a sister, Rose Michaels of Grenada Hills, CA; two granddaughters, Hannah and Ally Brewer; and many family members, especially his beloved aunts and cousins.

He was born in John Day, OR, son of the late Donald and Helen (Reynolds) Brewer, and resided in Spencer since 2006. He graduated from Bay Path R.V.T. High School in Charlton in 1975.

Mike was a foreman and HVAC technician at J.L. De Marco Heating and Air Conditioning in Holden, retiring in 2024. He previously owned and operated JNH Metals in Spencer, and was a co-founder of RPM Heating and Air Conditioning in Charlton. As a long standing member of the Federated Church of Charlton, he enjoyed socializing at coffee hour and singing in the church choir.

Mike loved fishing for hornpout with family. He also enjoyed long motorcycle rides with his children and looked forward to the family cookouts every year on the farm. He was a fan of the Boston sports teams, especially the Patriots. Mike enjoyed sharing a beer with his many friends, and was always ready to lend a hand and be there for those important to him.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at the Federated Church of Charlton, 64 Main Street, Charlton.
