May Foy

ARCHDALE, NC - May G. (Hughes) Foy, 79, formerly of Oxford, died Friday, August 9, 2013. She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas W. Foy who died in 1988; and her daughter, Geraldine Eager. She is survived by six children, Rose Marie St. Peters and her husband Ronald of East Brookfield, Thomas Foy and his wife Kathleen of Archdale, NC, Melody Miller and her husband Johnny Miller of Brookfield, Kathleen Clifford and her husband Gary of Oxford, Ann Ellis and her husband John of Oxford, and Robert Foy of Georgia; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. She was born in Worcester, the daughter of the late Harold and Ethel (Partridge) Hughes. Mrs. Foy worked for the Samaritan's in Webster for many years. She enjoyed crocheting, painting, and loved her dog, Suzie. A calling hour will be held on Monday, August 12, 2013, from 10 - 11 a.m. at Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford, followed by a graveside service at 11:30 a.m. at St. Roch's Cemetery, Federal Hill Rd., Oxford.
