WEBSTER - Mary L. (Bertini) Standring, 59, of Myrtle Ave., died Friday, January 22, 2010, after a long battle with cancer. She was predeceased by her husband of 10 years, Bernard F. Standring, who died in 1997. She is survived by seven children, Michael Boswoski of Webster, Jody Cournoyer of Webster, Tammy Piotte of Monson, Tina Coutu of Worcester, John Coutu of Webster, Francis Coutu of Webster, and Marylynn Standring of Dudley; five brothers, Kenneth Allderige of Maine, William Allderige of Virginia, Murray Allderige of Florida, Francis Bertini of Boston, and Anthony Bertini of Oxford; two sisters, Carol Rodriguez of Arizona and Katherine Fafford of Webster; sixteen grandchildren, and many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by two brothers, Patrick Bertini of Mansfield, CT, who died in 1969, and Joseph Bertini of Oxford who died in 2006. She was born in Miami, FL, the daughter of the late Joseph and Constance L. (McCarthy) Bertini, and lived in Oxford before moving to Webster 12 years ago. Mrs. Standring was a bus driver for special needs children at Oxford Public Schools for seven years. She loved playing bingo and slots, and most of all, enjoyed being with her family. A funeral will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2010, from Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford, followed by a Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Roch's Church, 332 Main St., Oxford. Burial will follow at North Cemetery, Oxford. Calling hours are Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2010, from 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
