CHARLTON – Mary Lou (Rossi) Lepko, 76, died Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Rich Lepko of Charlton; three children, Philip Geiger and his wife Sheena of Davidson, NC, Robert Geiger of Plattsburgh, NY, and Alyson Romanelli and her husband Michael of Charlton; her sister, Vicki Molnar of Charlton; eight grandchildren, Kylee, Brea, Andrew, Annemarie, Emilee, Violet, Adeline, and Julianne; and one nephew, Joseph.
She was born in New Brunswick, NJ, daughter of the late Michael and Violet Rossi, and lived most of her life in New Jersey before moving to Charlton in 2017.
Mary Lou was an executive administrative assistant at Johnson & Johnson in New Brunswick, NJ, prior to retirement. She was a very active member of the community, especially at the church and senior center. She was president of the Mary Martha Guild and played in the bell choir at St. Joseph’s Church. She was very active with the Senior Center in Charlton, where she was a member of the Golden Age Group and organized travel for the members. Mary Lou will be remembered as a generous woman who contributed to many organizations. Most important in her life were her children and grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be held at 12 noon on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at St. Joseph’s Church, 10 H. Putnam Rd. Ext., Charlton. Burial will follow at West Ridge Cemetery in Charlton. A calling hour will be held on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon at the church prior to the Mass.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph’s Church, P.O. Box 338, Charlton City, MA 01508.
