OXFORD - Martha J. (Scott) Wright, 73, formerly of Walnut Street, died Thursday, September 1, 2011, at Millbury Healthcare Center. She is survived by two children, Kenneth R. Wright II and his wife Pamela of Oxford and Allison A. Mastrorio and her husband Michael of Auburn; three brothers, William Scott of Alexandria, VA, Wilmer Scott of Petersburgh, PA, and Elmer Scott of Huntingdon, PA; four sisters, Mary Ellen Geissinger of Oneida, NY, Louise Sausser of McClure, PA, Patricia Weyer of Altoona, PA, and Noami Weaver of Tyrone, PA; four grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by two brothers and one sister. She was born in Petersburgh, PA, the daughter of the late Earl T. and Elsie G. (Lightner) Scott, and lived in Pennsylvania, Alabama, Germany, Kentucky, Maryland, Oxford, Brimfield, and Auburn. Mrs. Wright was a U.S. Army veteran serving in the Women's Army Corps (WAC). She was a member of the Retired Armed Forces Association and a life member of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary in Huntingdon, PA. She was a member of the Oxford United Methodist Church in Oxford. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 7, 2011, at the Oxford United Methodist Church, 465 Main St., Oxford. Military burial will follow at North Cemetery, Oxford, with the Oxford Memorial Honor Guard participating. Calling hours are Tuesday, September 6, 2011, from 4-8 p.m. at Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford.
