Marion Paige

OXFORD - Marion E. (Leslie) Paige, 87, died Saturday, July 7, 2012, at Lanessa Extended Care Center in Webster. She was predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Charles A. Paige of Oxford who died in 1996. She is survived by her children, Patti Neslusan and her husband John of Connecticut, June Booker and her husband Steve of Oxford, Gail Berthiaume of Florida, Wayne Paige and his wife Lois of Webster, Richard Paige and his wife Lois of Washington, Glen and his wife Jackie of Florida, and Robert of Princeton; a sister, Marjorie Hilton of New Hampshire; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by a sister, Lillian Venoit; and a brother, Maurice Leslie. She was born in Worcester, the daughter of the late Merton and Nellie (MacIntosh) Leslie, and lived in Worcester and Auburn before moving to Oxford 60 years ago. Mrs. Paige was a chef at Hubbard Regional Hospital in Webster many years ago. She enjoyed knitting, cooking, and liked vacationing at in Maine and at Hampton Beach. She was a direct descendent of Attila the Hun, as well as the Leslie and MacIntosh clan of Scotland. She lived life to the fullest until her death. A funeral and burial will be private. There are no calling hours. In lieu of f lowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lanessa Extended Care, c/o the Activities Dept., 751 School St., Webster, MA 01570. Paradis Funeral Home in Oxford is directing the arrangements.
