Mariette Prunier

WEBSTER/WORCESTER - Mariette "Marie" L. (Lague) Prunier, 89, died peacefully on Saturday, January 4, 2014, at Rosewood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Peabody. She was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Henry A. Prunier, who died in 2013; two daughters, Suzanne L. Leonard and Marianne E. Ciociolo; and her granddaughter, Megan Behnke. She is survived by four children, Joanne M. Green and her husband John of Hampton, NH, Raymond H. Prunier and his wife Gloria of Merrimack, NH, Dianne M. Behnke and her husband Corey of Brillion, WI, and Donald A. Prunier of Coral Springs, FL; a brother, Roger Lague and his wife Caroline of Troy, VT; 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, nephews and nieces. She was born in North Troy, VT, the daughter of the late Rosserrio and Maria (Masse) Lague, and lived most of her life in Webster. A funeral will be held on Thursday, January 9, 2014, from Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford, followed by a Mass at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church, 35 Hamilton St., Worcester. Burial will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery in Worcester. Calling hours are Wednesday, January 8, 2014, from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Season's Hospice, 275 Grove St., Suite 3-102, Newton, MA 02466.
