Marie Lemay

OXFORD - Marie A. (Hairyes) LeMay, 85, of Old Dudley Road, died Friday, August 19, 2011, at Oakwood Nursing Home in Webster. She was predeceased by her husband, Jean F. LeMay who died in 1990. She is survived her daughter, Mary Jean Slota of Webster; three sisters, Isabelle Lyons, Gladys Hughes, and Dorothy Amour, all of Millbury; two granddaughters, three great grandsons, and many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her son, John F. LeMay of Oxford who died in 2003; and a sister, Mildred Nelson of Manchaug. She was born in Worcester, the daughter of the late Frederick and Loretta (Minnie) Hairyes, and lived in Millbury and Manchaug before moving to Oxford in 1956. She attended Millbury Public Schools. Mrs. LeMay was a member of St. Roch's Church in Oxford. A funeral service will be held privately. Burial will be private at Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. There are no calling hours. Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford, is directing the arrangements.
