WEBSTER – Margaret H. (Forte) Webster, 95, of Thompson Road and formerly of Belmont, died Saturday, March 8, 2008, at St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester, after a short illness. She is survived by her daughter, Sandra E. Vitkus and her husband Allan of Charlton; two grandchildren, David Vitkus and his wife Aimee of Dudley, and Julie Neri and her husband Scot of Worcester; two great grandsons, and six nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by three brothers and two sisters. She was born in Waltham, the daughter of the late Alexander and Antonia (Cardillo) Forte, and lived in Vinalhaven, ME, and Belmont before moving to Webster 2 months ago. Ms. Webster worked in the Dietary Department at McLean Hospital in Belmont for 12 years, retiring in 1981. She enjoyed playing bingo and especially loved spending time with her family. A funeral will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2008, from Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford, followed by a Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Roch's Church, 332 Main St., Oxford. Burial will follow at Westridge Cemetery, Charlton. Calling hours are Tuesday, March 11, 2008, from 6-8 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Ivan Calderwood Homestead, 17 Beaver Dam Road, Vinalhaven, ME 04863.
