Margaret Leblanc

November 30, 1931 — February 16, 2016

NORTH OXFORD – Margaret “Peggy” A. (White) LeBlanc, 84, of Maple Avenue, died with her entire family by her side on Tuesday, February 16, 2016, at St. Vincent Hospital after a short illness. She was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Norman J. LeBlanc, Sr., who died in 2006. She is survived by six children, Norman J. LeBlanc and his wife Susan of Oxford, Diane L. Haddad and her husband Frederick of North Oxford, Donna M. Hanson and her husband Donald of Charlton, Ricky P. LeBlanc and his wife Jacki of Charlton, Garry M. LeBlanc and his wife Kim of Oxford, and Michael A. LeBlanc and his wife Karen of North Oxford; 10 grandchildren, Emmy Marie Monticelli, Aron Steven Haddad, Christian Hans Hanson, Ashley LeBlanc Hadley, Ryan Matthew LeBlanc, Cory Michael Hanson, Randy Bradley LeBlanc, Coleman Matthew LeBlanc, Marina Ashley LeBlanc, and Melanie Lynn LeBlanc; 13 great-grandchildren, Kathryn, Ava, Ella, Gavin, Matthew, Nicoletta, Austin, Gianna, Raegan, Sophia, Emma, Soley, Sam; three brothers, Robert White of Southbridge, Kenneth White and his wife Nancy of North Oxford, and Ernest White Jr. of Oxford; three sisters-in-law, Bernice Gary, Theresa Stone and her husband Robert, and Denise LeBlanc; a brother-in-law, Theodore LeBlanc; and many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her brother Bernard White. She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Ernest and Cecelia (LaPlante) White Sr., and was a lifelong resident of North Oxford.

Mrs. LeBlanc worked at the Fair in Worcester for many years. In her younger years, she worked at Howard Johnsons in Auburn. She was a lifelong member of St. Ann’s Church in North Oxford. She enjoyed vacationing with her family, going to the casino, traveling, and most of all she loved cooking for her family. She was committed to her family and will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

A funeral will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2016, from Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford, followed by a Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Ann’s Church, 652 Main St., North Oxford. Burial will follow at North Cemetery in Oxford. Calling hours are Friday, February 19, 2016, from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society, c/o St. Ann’s Church, P.O. Box 488, North Oxford, MA 01537.
