CHARLTON – Margaret R. (Ryan) Grenon, 96, of Cranberry Shore Road, died peacefully on Friday, December 28, 2007, at St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester, surrounded by her family. She was predeceased by her husband of 66 years, Robert N. Grenon of Oxford, who died in 2001. She is survived by three daughters, Margaret L. Dube and her companion Alfred of Charlton, Carol M. Hayes of Southbridge, and Barbara E. Butrym of Webster; nine grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, thirteen great great grandchildren, and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by four sisters, one brother, and her son-in-law John Butrym of Webster, who died on December 13, 2007. She was born in Webster, the daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Andrews) Ryan, and lived in Webster and Oxford before moving to Charlton in 2001. Mrs. Grenon was a member of the N.E.F.C.A. and was a member of St. Roch's Church in Oxford. She attended the Oxford Senior Center and enjoyed arts and crafts. She was devoted to her husband and family. A funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, December 31, 2007, at St. Roch's Church, 332 Main St., Oxford. Burial will follow at St. Roch's Cemetery, Oxford. Calling hours are Monday, December 31, 2007, from 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., at Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford, prior to the Mass.
