STURBRIDGE - Margaret M. Bowen, 61, of River Road, died Sunday, November 13, 2011, at the Rose Monahan Hospice Residence in Worcester, surrounded by her family & loved ones. She is survived by two sisters, Gena A. Marohn and her husband Steven of Oxford, and Sharon R. Stahle and her husband Gregg of Rutland, VT; a brother, Raymond E. Bowen and his wife Ronnie of West Palm Beach, FL; her sister-in-law, Deborah J. Bowen of Hanover; several nephews and nieces; and her loving caretaker, Genevieve Grant. She was predeceased by a brother, David J. Bowen. She was born in Framingham, the daughter of the late Raymond E. and Alice E. (Gilbert) Bowen, and lived in Milford, Oxford, and Uxbridge, before moving to Sturbridge 7 years ago. Ms. Bowen attended DayHab 1 at Life Skills in Webster, and the Center of Hope in Southbridge. She enjoyed puzzles, music, dancing, blowing bubbles, watching the Three Stooges, and was a huge Mickey Mouse fan. She had a wonderful angelic personality, and loved everyone unconditionally. She touched many lives. A funeral will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, November 19, 2011, at St. Mary's Church, 19 Winter St., Milford. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Milford. Calling hours are Friday, November 18, 2011, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in the form of gift cards may be made to the Center of Hope, P.O. Box 66, Southbridge, MA 01550, or to the Seven Hills Organization (in the form of a gift card if possible), 81 Hope Ave., Worcester, MA 01603.
