OXFORD - Louis A. Fish Jr., 74, of Charlton St., died Tuesday, July 29, 2008, in his home. He was predeceased by his wife of 32 years, Carol F. (Sweeney) Fish, who died in 1992. He is survived by four sons, Stephen E. Fish of Oxford, Mark A. Fish of Washington, Louis A. Fish III of Chelmsford, and Kenneth A. Fish of Taunton; two brothers, John E. Fish of Virginia and David S. Fish of Oxford; nine grandchildren, one great great grandson, several nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was predeceased by a brother, Robert L. Fish of Grafton who died in 1998. He was born in Worcester, the son of the late Louis A. and Frances E. (Roberts) Fish Sr., and lived in Worcester before moving to Oxford in 1975. He graduated from South High School in Worcester and was a sergeant in the Army National Guard. Mr. Fish worked at Thom McAn in Auburn for 29 years, retiring many years ago. He owned and operated Rocking Horse Crafts in Oxford for several years. He enjoyed music and collecting records, and had many friends throughout the world on the internet. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 2, 2008, at Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. Burial will follow at Hope Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours are Friday, August 1, 2008, from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Pilgrim Baptist Church, c/o the Deacon's Fund, 33 West Brookfield Rd., North Brookfield, MA 01535.
