NORTH OXFORD - Lorraine M. (Hebert) Casavant, 72, died peacefully on Sunday, July 14, 2013, in her home with her husband and family by her side. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Paul J. Casavant of North Oxford; six children, Lisa Woodrum and her husband Timothy of Florida, Ronald Casavant of Oxford, Michael Casavant and his wife Jennifer of Saratoga Springs, NY, Donna Cassie and her companion William Polis of Oxford, Kenneth Casavant of Wisconsin, and Sandra Terlizzi and her husband Peter of Charlton; two brothers, Richard Hebert and Robert Hebert, both of Canada; a sister, Georgette Levakis of Florida; 12 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and several nephews and nieces. She was born in Chicopee, the daughter of the late Alfred and Cecile (St. Martin) Hebert, and lived in Chicopee, Warren, Canada, and Webster, before moving to North Oxford 38 years ago. Mrs. Casavant was a waitress at Friendly's Restaurant for 25 years, retiring in 2001. She was an active member of St. Ann's Church in North Oxford, and enjoyed sewing and going to yard sales. She enjoyed music and playing the guitar, and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. A funeral will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2013, from Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford, followed by a Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Ann's Church, 652 Main St., North Oxford. Burial will follow at North Cemetery in Oxford. Calling hours are Wednesday, July 17, 2013, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Ann's Church, P.O. Box 488, North Oxford, MA 01537.
