OXFORD – Lillian M. (Landroche) Longtin, 92, died peacefully on Sunday, September 24, 2023, at Harrington Memorial Hospital in Southbridge after a long illness. She was predeceased by her husband of 46 years, Normand Longtin of Oxford, who died in 2002. She is survived by two children, Dennis G. Longtin of New Hampshire, and Kathy M. Frederickson and her husband Robert of Breinigsville, PA; her daughter-in-law and caretaker, Gayle S. Longtin of Oxford; six grandchildren, Jonathan Longtin of Beverly Hills, FL, Cory Longtin and his fiancée Miranda of Oxford, Thomas Longtin of Oxford, Jillian Niro and her husband Robert of Hopedale, Jordan Wojnowski of Uxbridge, and Jessica Rice of Mashpee; a sister, Alma Rucci of Oxford; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Marion Rouillard. She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Joseph and Marion A. (Daignault) Landroche, and lived most of her life in Oxford before recently moving to Auburn.
Mrs. Longtin was a custodian and cafeteria worker at Oxford High School for many years prior to retirement. She enjoyed playing bingo.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 27, 2023, at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main Street, Oxford. A calling hour will be held on Wednesday from 2:00-3:00 p.m. at the funeral home, prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
