Lawrence Laplante

GREENVILLE, SC - Lawrence Henry LaPlante, age 91, of Greenville, passed away Saturday, January 10, 2009. He was a native of Oxford, Massachusetts and a son of the late Noe and Rose Hewitt LaPlante. Lawrence was a retired sheet metal worker at Arduini in Auburn, Massachusetts. He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Elizabeth Cecelia LaPlante; brothers, Noe (Gus) LaPlante, Jr., and Wilfred LaPlante; sisters, Ora LaPlante Boutilette and Rita LaPlante Conroy. He is survived by his loving family, son, Richard LaPlante and wife, Pauline of Anderson, SC; daughter, Deborah Goodwin and husband, Stephen of Greenville, SC; brother, Raymond LaPlante of Auburn, MA; grandchildren, Jeffery, Denise, Racquel, Tracey, Andrew, Matthew and Jonathan; and great-grandchildren, Molly, Jonah, Hannah and Chelsea. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 8, 2009, at St. Roch's Cemetery, Federal Hill Road, Oxford. In lieu of flowers, please make memorials to the Open Arms Hospice, 1836 W.
