NORTH OXFORD – Lawrence Connor, 77, formerly of Chestnut Hill Road, died Sunday, July 6, 2008, at St. Luke's Hospital in New Bedford, after a short illness. He is survived by three children, Michael K. Connor and his wife Hope of Oxford, Lynn M. Connor of Fairhaven, and Todd M. Connor and his wife Kathi of North Attleboro; two granddaughters, Rachel M. Boudria and Amanda L. Boudria, both of Fall River; his former wife, Marie E. (Gallant) Duhamel of Auburn; and many nephews and nieces. Mr. Connor was born in Boston, the son of the late Richard L. and Viola M. (Marshall) Connor, and lived most of his life in North Oxford. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Connor was a computer programming supervisor at Cincinnati Milacron Corporation in Worcester, where he worked for 30 years before retiring several years ago. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, July 10, 2008, from 1:00 p.m. – 2:15 p.m., at Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main Street, Oxford. A military graveside service will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Worcester County Memorial Park, 217 Richards Avenue, Paxton, with the Oxford Memorial Honor Guard participating. Flowers may be sent or memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Massachusetts Chapter, 311 Arsenal St., Watertown, MA 02472.
