OXFORD - Kenneth G. Raimondi, 57, of Old Southbridge Road, died Sunday, December 13, 2009, surrounded by his family at UMass Memorial Medical Center - University Campus, after a battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Lisa M. (Simas) Raimondi of Oxford; three children, Kenneth Raimondi of Texas, Julie Raimondi and Gino Raimondi, both of Oxford; a brother, John Walker of Tennessee; a sister, Beverly Sirok of Indiana; an uncle, Aldo Raimondi of Rhode Island; several cousins including Barbara Raimondi of Maine; two grandsons, and several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by a brother, Charlie Walker of Connecticut. He was born in Norfolk, VA, the son of the late Gino Raimondi and Gladys (Moniz) Raimondi, and had lived in Oxford for 21 years. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War. Mr. Raimondi was a computer analyst at Allmerica Financial in Worcester for 15 years. Later, he worked at C.S.C. in Connecticut and worked for the Oxford Public Schools in Oxford. He was a member of St. Ann's Church in North Oxford. He loved playing golf, cooking for his family, and watching sports, including boxing and baseball. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family especially his wife, Lisa. A memorial Mass will be held, for all to attend, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 19, 2009, at St. Ann's Church, 652 Main St., North Oxford. Burial will be at a later date at St. Mary's Cemetery, West Warwick, RI. Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford, is directing the arrangements.
