OXFORD – Kathleen M. Reardon, 75, died Sunday, November 14, 2021, at St. Vincent Hospital surrounded by her family after a long battle with cancer. She is survived by two children, David J. Mullins and his wife Patricia of Wales, and Peggy Pavone and her husband Anthony of Charlton; and five grandchildren who she loved and was so proud of, Amilia Wetherbee, Matthew Pavone, Daniel Pavone, Jacob Mullins, and Catherine Pavone. She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Edward P. and Catherine M. (Collins) Humphrey, and lived in Oxford since 1968.
Mrs. Reardon worked at J.J. Nissen’s Bakery in Worcester for 24 years, retiring as accounts receivable supervisor in 1999. She enjoyed square dancing and was a round dance cuer. Kathy was a great baker, supplying sweets wherever she went. She was also a talented crafter and enjoyed nothing more than sharing her gift with the people she cherished. She especially enjoyed knitting hats and blankets for newborn babies at St. Vincent Hospital. She loved her grandchildren above all and cared for them for many years after retirement.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 19, 2021, at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. Burial will follow at North Cemetery in Oxford. Calling hours are Friday from 9:30 – 11:00 a.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 3 Speen St., Suite 250, Framingham, MA 01701.
