OXFORD – Karisa A. Allen, 21, of Harwood Street, died unexpectedly on Saturday, November 19, 2022, at Harrington Healthcare at Hubbard Hospital in Webster. She is survived by her father, David J. Allen Sr. of Oxford, with whom she lived; two brothers, David J. Allen Jr. of Spencer, and Jared J. Allen of Oxford; two aunts, Donna Hogan and Gerry Jason, both of Worcester; and three cousins, Teddy Mitchell of Worcester, David Jason and his wife Kellen of Hudson, and Leah Jason and her companion James Maloughney of Worcester. She was predeceased by her mother, Lisa A. (Jason) Allen who died in 2019. She was born in Worcester on May 4, 2001, and was a lifelong resident of Oxford.
Karisa was a certified nursing assistant at Southbridge Rehabilitation for 3 years. Previously she worked at Market Basket in Oxford. She graduated from Bay Path R.V.T. High School in Charlton in 2019 and attended Worcester State University. Karisa enjoyed quiet time at home and was a dedicated employee, working many hours at her job. She loved spending summers at Lake Manchaug Campground with her family throughout her childhood, and will be greatly missed by her family and her beloved dog, Bonnie.
A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, November 28, 2022, at St. Ann’s Church, 652 Main St., North Oxford. Those attending are respectfully requested to meet directly at the church. Burial will follow at St. John’s Cemetery in Worcester. Memorial calling hours are Sunday, November 27, 2022, from 5-8 p.m. at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford.
