STURBRIDGE - Karen J. (Stevens) Adams-Rebokis, 53, of Cedar Street, died Saturday, January 7, 2012, at UMass Memorial Medical Center-University Campus in Worcester, after a long illness. She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Ronald R. Rebokis; two children, Justina F. Adams of Webster and Jeremy S. Adams of Worcester; her mother, Joan M. (Conner) Stevens of North Oxford; her sister, Lynn A. Stevens-Mullen and her husband Craig of Hampton, NH; her brother, Ronald C. Stevens and is wife Mary of North Oxford; a sister-in-law, Helen Ducharme-Penkala of Webster; her granddaughter, Maya B. Wetherbee of Webster; aunts and uncles, Pauline Vassar of Millbury, and Pat and Bill Wickliff of Santa Rosa, CA; her nephew, Thomas R. Stevens of North Oxford; and many cousins. She was predeceased by her father, Thomas C. Stevens who died in 1979; and her granddaughter, Haleigh M. Hernandez who died in 2008. She was born in Mineral Wells, TX, and lived in Oxford and Webster before moving to Sturbridge 7 years ago. She graduated from Oxford High School in 1976. Mrs. Adams-Rebokis was a cashier at Cracker Barrel in Sturbridge for 4 years. Previously, she was the office manager at Meola Vending in Worcester. She enjoyed knitting, gardening, and loved to play bingo. Her family finds comfort in believing that Karen is now smiling down upon them along with Karen's granddaughter, Haleigh. Calling hours are Tuesday, January 10, 2012, from 6-9 p.m. at Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. Burial will be at a later date at Mount Zion Cemetery in Webster.
