June J. O'Sullivan

OXFORD – June J. (Garry) O’Sullivan, 83, of Oxford, died Friday, September 22, 2023, at Care One in Millbury.  She is survived by her husband, Edward O’Sullivan of Concord, NH; six children, Lora Bacon and her wife Mila of Cornville, AZ, Jamie Kelley of Holden, Robin Cestaro and her husband Jerry of Charlton, Lisa Darragh of Northampton, John Bacon and his wife Lili of Laguna Hills, CA, and Jennifer Goulas and her husband George of Charlton; two brothers, Ronn Garry and his wife Alina of Gloucester, and Russell Garre and his wife Pam of Oxford; 16 grandchildren, Devon, Lisa, Marissa, Andrea, Michael, Jay, Marco, Aaron, Alex, Caileigh, Christopher, Lia, Jeff, Niko, Paul, and Jordan; fifteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.  She was born in Holden, daughter of the late Lucien and Jeanette (Pervier) Garry, and lived most of her life in Oxford.

Mrs. O’Sullivan was a travel agent for Data General for many years.  Previously, she was the manager of Gloria Stevens in Webster.  In her younger years, she was a model for Denholm’s in Worcester.  She was a former member of St. Roch’s Church.  She enjoyed living in Zephyrhills, Florida, during her retirement.

Mrs. O’Sullivan was a Lassie League coach for 5 years when her daughters were young.  She loved the theater and directed several plays for the middle school, Nichols College, and in Zephyrhills, Florida, during her time there.  She had a beautiful singing voice and loved music, reading, quilting, baking, and traveling.  She participated with the “Save the Lake” organization in Webster.  She had an extraordinary love for animals and pets, and they brought her pleasure and comfort throughout her life.

Memorial calling hours are Sunday, October 8, 2023, from 2-4 p.m. at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford.  A service of remembrances by family and friends will be held at 4:00 p.m. at the conclusion of calling hours.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the M.S.P.C.A., 350 South Huntington Ave., Boston, MA 02130.
