Joyce Conley

DUDLEY - Joyce J. (McCausland) Conley, 68, of Mason Road Extension, died Tuesday, August 2, 2011, at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Richard P. Conley of Dudley; two sons, Michael S. Conley and his wife Heather of Ipswich, and Kevin R. Conley and his very close friend Colleen of Marblehead; her brother, Donald McCausland and his wife Barbara of Southbridge; her brother-in-law, Paul Conley of Walpole; two grandchildren, Chloe Grace and Avery Rose; nephews and nieces. She was born in Worcester, the daughter of the late Donald and Barbara (Schutz) McCausland Sr., and lived in North Oxford before moving to Dudley many years ago. She graduated from Oxford High School in 1960. Mrs. Conley was the assistant town clerk in Dudley, retiring several years ago. Previously she worked at Rex Chain Belt Co. and Paul Revere Insurance, both in Worcester. She also worked in the advertising department at the Fair in Worcester. Mrs. Conley enjoyed knitting, watching movies and television, and reading. The calling hours and funeral will be private. Burial will be private at Hillside Cemetery in Auburn. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Worcester County Food Bank, 474 Boston Turnpike, Shrewsbury, MA 01545. Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford, is assisting with arrangements.
