Joshua Fitzgerald

OXFORD – Joshua S. FitzGerald, 21, died unexpectedly on Saturday, April 29, 2017. He is survived by his mother, Renee Noel of Southbridge; his daughter, Taylor Rae FitzGerald of Spencer; his paternal grandparents, Stephen D. FitzGerald of Sturbridge and Mary E. FitzGerald of Oxford; his maternal grandparents, Paul Noel of Worcester and Darlene Noel of Southbridge; and many cousins, aunts, and uncles, including his uncles Rob FitzGerald of Dudley and Paul Noel of Worcester. He was born in Worcester, son of the late Stephen D. FitzGerald II, and lived most of his life in Auburn and Oxford.

He was a kind and compassionate person and had many friends. He was always helpful, cared deeply for his family, and was generous with his time. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 4, 2017, at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. Burial will follow at North Cemetery in Oxford. A calling hour will be held from 10-11 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home, prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be made to the D.A.R.E. Program, c/o Dudley Police Dept., 71 West Main St., Dudley, MA 01571.
