CHARLTON – Joshua M. Carroll, 29, of King Road, died unexpectedly at home on February 16, 2016. He is survived by his parents, Michael and Robin B. (Stone) Carroll of Charlton; his brother, Matthew T. Carroll of Charlton; his maternal grandmother, Jean A. (Grenier) Stone of Charlton; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was predeceased by his brother, Jeremy D. Carroll who died in 2007; his paternal grandparents, John J. and Helen F. (Loan) Carroll; and his maternal grandfather, Donald R. Stone. He was born in Worcester and was a lifelong resident of Charlton. He graduated from Bay Path Regional Vocational Technical High School in Charlton.
Joshua worked at the William F. Lynch Company in Worcester for 10 years. He was a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Union Local 63 in Springfield. Joshua loved fishing and enjoyed mountain biking and riding his motorcycle. He liked skateboarding, skim boarding, and knee-boarding. He loved his French bulldog buddy Rufus, and will be remembered by his family and many friends as a good man with a heart of gold.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 25, 2016, at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. Burial will be private at a later date. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Association of Mental Health, 3803 N. Fairfax Drive, Suite 100, Arlington, VA 22203.
