Joseph Fountain, Jr.

OXFORD - Joseph P. Fountain, Jr., 49, died Sunday, August 29, 2010. He is survived by two daughters, Amy Fountain of Oxford and Angela Fountain of Worcester; his mother, Shirley R. (Beauregard) Fountain of Oxford; three brothers, Dennis Fountain of Oxford, Rodney Fountain of Oxford, and Mark Fountain of Florida; three sisters, Cynthia Marble of Louisiana, Judith Bryniarski of Dudley, and Melissa Christian of Dudley; his companion, Cynthia Dronzek of Oxford; and two granddaughters. He was born in Webster, the son of the late Joseph P. Fountain Sr., and was a lifelong resident of Oxford. Mr. Fountain was a heavy machine operator at Treeline Construction in Millbury for 5 years. He loved the outdoors, enjoyed fishing, and especially loved spending time with his family. Calling hours are Thursday, Sept 2, 2010, from 6-9 p.m. at Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. A memorial service and burial will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
