WEBSTER – John W. "Chip" Wheeler, 48, of Spring St., died Wednesday, October 17, 2007, at UMass Memorial Medical Center – University Campus, Worcester. He is survived by his mother, Rita J. (Cournoyer) Wheeler of Oxford; two children, Nicholas Wheeler of Oxford and Morgan Nordby of Southbridge; two brothers, Gerald P. Wheeler and his wife Adele of Dudley and James J. Wheeler and his wife Patricia of Oxford; a granddaughter, Lexianna Wheeler; aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces. He was born in Worcester, the son of the late John L. Wheeler, and lived in Oxford before moving to Webster 8 years ago. He graduated from Bay Path High School in Charlton and was a U.S. Air Force veteran. Mr. Wheeler was a customer support representative at E.M.C. Corporation in Hopkinton for 8 years. Previously, he owned and operated Oxford Seamless Gutter in Oxford. He was an avid sports fan, enjoyed his classic cars, and especially loved fishing. A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, October 23, 2007, at St. Roch's Church, 332 Main St., Oxford. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Webster. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the VNA Care Hospice, 120 Thomas St., Worcester, MA 01608. Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford, is in care of the arrangements.
