John Tsantoulis

October 14, 1923 — May 11, 2016

OXFORD – John S. Tsantoulis, 92, of Charlton Street, died Wednesday, May 11, 2016, at UMass Memorial Medical Center – University Campus in Worcester, after a long illness. He was predeceased by his wife of 60 years, Joanna F. (George) Tsantoulis who died in 2007. He is survived by two sons, Richard J. Tsantoulis and his wife Linda of Auburn, NH, and Michael J. Tsantoulis of Oxford; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nephews, and nieces. He was predeceased by three brothers, Bill Arapage, George Arapage, and Tim Tsantoulis; and a sister, Viola Metalious. He was born in Manchester, NH, son of the late Spiros Tsantoulis and Katherine (Kyriakou) Tsantoulis, and lived in Manchester, NH, before moving to Oxford 40 years ago. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

Mr. Tsantoulis worked at Data General Corporation in Westboro for 12 years, retiring in 1996. Previously, he worked at Smith Valve in Westboro for 15 years. He was a member of the American Legion and an avid fan of the Boston sports teams.

All services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Disables American Veterans Memorial Program, P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250-0301. Paradis-Givner Funeral Home in Oxford is directing the arrangements.
