OXFORD - John T. Sneed, III, 70, of Nottingham Road, died Wednesday, October 14, 2015, at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester after a long illness. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Judith F. (McCue) Sneed of Oxford; three children, Tammy S. Kimbar and her husband Christopher of Worcester, John T. Sneed, IV, of Cebu, Philippines, and Jesslyn McFadden and her husband Matthew of Oxford; three brothers, William Sneed and his wife Anne-Marie of Chatham, Steven Sneed of Tennessee, and Jim Hornady of Georgia; three sisters, Brenda DeCoteau and her husband Robert of Shrewsbury, Donna Fowler of Tennessee, Deborah Rhodes of Louisiana; two grandchildren, Baylee Kimbar of Worcester and Aiden McFadden of Oxford; and several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his brother, Daniel Sneed. He was born in Nashville, TN, on August 23, 1945. He graduated from North High School in Worcester and attended New England School of Accounting. Mr. Sneed was an office manager at McCarthy Reporting Service in Worcester for 30 years, retiring in 2010. He served in the Army National Guard and coached girls youth soccer in Oxford. He enjoyed watching football, especially the Patriots, and loved spending time at the Cape with his family. In his life, family always came first. A celebration of John's life will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, October 19, 2015, at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. Burial will be private at a later date at Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Monroe Harding Inc., 1120 Glendale Lane, Nashville, TN 37204.
