John Ryan, Sr.

PUTNAM, CT – John “Jack” E. Ryan Sr., 83, of Modock Road, died Saturday, August 19, 2017, in his home. He is survived by his wife, Charmaine Ryan of Putnam; four children, John E. Ryan Jr. and his wife Diana, Donald M. Ryan and his wife Charlotte, Tracy Brayton and her husband Jerry, and Beth Perritt and her husband Bobby; three brothers, Norbert and his wife Lori Beauchamp, Thomas and his wife Beverly Beauchamp, and Donald Beauchamp; a sister, Susan Beauchamp; 12 grandchildren, Shawn, Andrew, Colleen, Nicole, Kerry, Kristi, Tom, Angela, Melissa, Ricky, Robert, and Charlotte; and many beautiful great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter, Nancy J. Stelmach; two brothers, Wayne Beauchamp and Roger Beauchamp; and two step-sisters, Geraldine Beauchamp and Marion Breitz. He was predeceased by his parents, John W. and Ida Ryan and his birth mother, Agnes (Rousseau) Beauchamp. He served in the United States Army. Mr. Ryan was an iron worker and equipment operator for many years.

Memorial calling hours are Saturday, August 26, 2017, from 1-3 p.m. at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford, followed at 3 p.m. by family and friends’ remembrances.
