CHARLTON – Jesse James Davis, 41, died unexpectedly on Thursday, September 15, 2016. He is survived by his father, James W. Davis and his companion Linda Cestodio of Charlton; his mother, Elizabeth M. (Hoffman) Davis of Charlton; his sister, Mindy Davis of Charlton; his brother, Brad Davis of Charlton; three nieces, Juliana Callahan, Scarlet Davis, and Talia Davis, all of Charlton; extended family, Kelly, Shari, Kina and Dana Iverson as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was born in Southbridge and lived most of his life in Charlton. He attended Bay Path R.V.T.H.S. in Charlton.
Jesse was an experienced Roofer and also enjoyed the time he spent working at Worcester Sand and Gravel. He loved trucks and race cars, and enjoyed auto body work, painting, and working on the engines. He was also passionate about football and heavy metal music. He cherished the time he spent on the family farm in Charlton, whether riding horses or operating the tractors. He was a jack-of-all-trades and was a great friend to many people.
A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, October 1, 2016, at North Cemetery, Main St., Oxford. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army ARC, Attn: Donna Sequin, 72 Cambridge St., Worcester, MA 01603. Paradis-Givner Funeral Home in Oxford is directing the arrangements.
