OXFORD – Jerry M. Moock, 52, of Main Street, died unexpectedly on Sunday, June 29, 2008, in Oxford. He is survived by his wife of 4 years, Tracey A. (Sippach) Moock of Oxford; his mother, Shirley A. (Overacre) Moock Sargent of Fresno, CA; a son, James E. Moock of Dublin, CA; a stepson, Vincent P. Barlow of Oxford; three brothers, Dr. Thomas Moock of San Leandro, CA, Bob Moock of Clovis, CA, and Steve Sargent of Fresno, CA; and a sister, Gail Marshall of Fresno, CA. He was born in Sanger, CA, the son of the late Edward A. Moock, and lived in Fresno, CA, Oregon, Maine, and Worcester, before moving to Oxford 5 years ago. He graduated from Ceres High School in Ceres, CA, in 1973. Mr. Moock was a house manager at the Salvation Army in Worcester. He loved sports, supporting the Salvation Army, and most of all enjoyed his family. A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 8, 2008, at the Salvation Army Citadel Chapel, 630 Main Street, Worcester. A memorial calling hour will be held on Tuesday from 1:30 – 2:30 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be at a later date at Sanger Cemetery, Sanger, CA. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army Adult Rehab Center, 72 Cambridge St., Worcester, MA 01603, or to your local Salvation Army. Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford, is directing the arrangements.
