OXFORD - Jeanette M. Fleming passed away peacefully at home on April 9, 2011. She was born on January 13, 1922, to Wilfred and Alexandrina Hamel. She leaves two daughters, Marsha and her husband George Gilligan, and Jacklyn and her husband James Triplett; three granddaughters, Sandra Gilligan Germain and her husband Kenneth, Andrea Gilligan Flaherty and her husband John, and Jillian Triplett; four great grandchildren, Jessica and Bryan Germain, John "Jack" and William Flaherty; and a sister-in-law, Dorothy S. Hamel. She was predeceased by her only son, Franklin G. Fleming; three sisters, Leah Hoey, Alexandrina Charbonneau, and Noella Lavallee; and three brothers, Armand, Henry, and George Hamel. Jeannette retired from the nursing staff at Worcester State Hospital in 1987 after a twenty-plus year career. A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 15, 2011, at St. Ann's Church, 652 Main St., North Oxford. Friends and family are respectfully requested to meet at the church. Burial will follow at Quabbin Park Cemetery in Ware. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Ann's Church, P.O. Box 488, North Oxford, MA 01537. Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford, is directing the arrangements.
