Jean Anderson

AUBURN / PORT CHARLOTTE, FL – Jean P. (O'Loughlin) Anderson, 77, of South Street, died Thursday, February 28, 2008, in her home. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Richard G. Anderson of Auburn; four children, Michael R. Anderson of Auburn, Susan J. O'Brien and her husband Joseph of Auburn, Kevin P. Anderson and his wife Deborah of Oxford, and Sharon J. Narel and her husband Lenny of Worcester; her twin sister, Joan M. Vaccarella of Marlboro; and six grandchildren, Ashley, Patrick, Mark, Matthew, Emily, and Kayla. She was predeceased by two sons, Richard G. Anderson III of Oxford who died in 1953, and Stephen J. Anderson of Oxford who died in 1961; a brother, Robert J. O'Loughlin; and a sister, Dorothy O'Loughlin. She was born in Worcester, the daughter of the late Michael J. and Agnes G. (Shea) O'Loughlin, and lived in Worcester, Oxford, and Port Charlotte, FL, before moving to Auburn 3 years ago. Mrs. Anderson worked in the automotive department at Sears and Roebuck in Auburn for 20 years, retiring in 1988. In her retirement, she worked for the American Red Cross in Florida. She was a former member of St. Roch's Church in Oxford and was a member of the Rosary Sodality at the church. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police Auxiliary in Florida and enjoyed vacationing at Cape Cod in the summer. A funeral will be held at 9 a.m. on Saturday, March 1, 2008, from Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford, followed by a Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Roch's Church, 332 Main St., Oxford. Burial will follow at St. Roch's Cemetery, Oxford. Calling hours are Friday, February 29, 2008, from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
