OXFORD - Janette P. (Weagle) Miller, 85, of Old Farm Road, died Thursday, May 8, 2014, in her home. She was predeceased by her husband of 36 years, Samuel E. Miller of Oxford. She is survived by five children, Diane Fosgate of Webster, Sheila Rogers of Penacook, NH, Valerie Zuidema of Oxford, Tammy Miller of Oxford, and James Miller of Webster; two brothers, Clarence Weagle Jr. of Massachusetts, and Harry Weagle Sr. of Manchaug; two sisters, Phyllis Herrera of Rutland and Virginia Desjardins of North Carolina; 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Michael Miller who died in 1949; and three sisters, Mary Harrison, Frances Germaine, and Helen Miller. She was born in Worcester, the daughter of the late Clarence J. and Helen A. (Fields) Weagle, and lived in Worcester and North Grafton before moving to Oxford 51 years ago. Mrs. Miller was a member of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary in Oxford for 40 years. She was a member of the Council on Aging in Oxford. She volunteered for Meals-on-Wheels, and enjoyed spending time at the Senior Center and in the craft room at Huguenot Arms. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 13, 2014, at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. Burial will follow at North Cemetery in Oxford. Calling hours are Monday, May 12, 2014, from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made the Meals-on-Wheels Program, c/o Tri-Valley Inc., 10 Mill St., Dudley, MA 01571.
