DUDLEY - Jamie A. (Vacca) Ford, 53, of Mason Road, died Sunday, April 10, 2011, in her home after a courageous battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband of 29 years, James R. Ford Sr. of Dudley; three children, Jennifer Ciuchta and her husband Todd of Dudley, James R. Ford Jr. of Webster, and Joshua P. Ford of Webster; her brother, James F. Vacca Jr. of Grafton; four sisters, Nancy M. Billings of Grafton, Sandra J. Zimage of Las Vegas, NV, Laurie A. Vacca of Webster, and Frances M. Kemp of Holts Summit, MO; three grandchildren, Patrick, Aidan, and Rachael; and many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by a daughter, Jessica Ford; and a sister, Anna F. Novia. She was born in Worcester, the daughter of the late James F. and Rita M. (Biando) Vacca, and lived in Worcester before moving to Dudley 23 years ago. She graduated from Tahanto Regional High School in Boylston in 1975. Mrs. Ford was a business analyst at OneShield, Inc., in Westboro for the past year. Previously, she worked at Allmerica Financial in Worcester for 23 years and Fidelity Investments in Marlboro. She was a member of the Women's Industrial Bowling League in Webster. She enjoyed playing bingo and was a huge fan of the Boston Red Sox. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and watching them by the pool. Calling hours are Tuesday, April 12, 2011, from 5-8 p.m. at Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford. A funeral service and burial will be private.
