WORCESTER - Jack was 68 years old when he passed peacefully at the University of Massachusetts Memorial Hospital. He fought a courageous 5-year battle against acute lymphatic leukemia. The family would like to thank all who helped in Jack's care. His never-give-up attitude allowed him to not only survive, but to live each day fully. He was surrounded by his support team, his sisters, Patricia Anderson and Sue Moscoffian, and his brother-in-law, Joe Moscoffian. His loving parents, Minnie Sue Micolites and Daniel Micolites passed away in 2005. He is survived by a daughter, Cheryl; a brother, Daniel in Oklahoma; and another sister, MaryAnn in Florida. He also leaves 3 nephews, Jesse, Lenny, and Matt, as well as their beautiful families. Jack called Massachusetts and Florida his home. A theme to Jack's life can be summed up through a Frank Sinatra song, "I Did It My Way." He worked in the construction field for most of his adult life. He enjoyed telling stories of his many adventures while at family gatherings. Jack loved to watch movies, as well as eat chocolate cream pie and hot dogs on the grill. His presence will be greatly missed by his family. The arrangements will be private. The family asks that all who knew Jack would honor his memory by celebrating the day mimicking his positive attitude while experiencing difficult times. Paradis Funeral Home in Oxford is assisting with arrangements.
