OXFORD - Irene E. (Lynch) St. Martin, 87, of Wheelock Street, died Saturday, April 7, 2012, at her daughter's home in Oxford. She was predeceased by her husband, Gerald E. St. Martin who died in 1981. She is survived by her daughter, Debra Lamarche and her husband Dennis of Oxford; her son, Gerald St. Martin and his wife Christina of Oxford; six grandchildren, Kelley Twombly and her husband Matthew of Belmont, NH, Heather Davis and her husband Jonathan of Oxford, Lisa Lamarche of Oxford, Kimberlee Lamarche of Oxford, Heather Lamarche of Oxford, and Scott St. Martin of Brooklyn, New York; five great grandchildren, Nathan, Matthew, Kyle, Abigail, and Cameron. She was predeceased by three brothers, Robert Lynch, Edward Lynch, and George Lynch. She was born in Worcester, the daughter of the late George H. and Elizabeth (Gamble) Lynch. Mrs. St. Martin was a bookkeeper for 30 years, retiring 40 years ago. She liked to spend time in Maine and loved the ocean. She enjoyed dancing, playing cards, crossword puzzles, listening to Michael Buble, and especially enjoyed spending time with her family. A funeral service will be private. There are no calling hours. Burial will be private at Hillside Cemetery in Auburn. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the VNA Care Hospice, 120 Thomas St., Worcester, MA 01608, or to Sacred Heart-St. Catherine of Sweden Church, 569 Cambridge St., Worcester, MA 01610. Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford, is directing the arrangements.
