WORCESTER – Henry S. Butler, 93, of Lakewood Street, died Friday, April 13, 2007, at the Washburn House in Worcester. He is survived by his wife Gertrude T. (LaPlante) Butler of Worcester; a daughter, Linda L. Dobbin of Rochester, NH; a sister, Florence Dubuque of Charlton; three grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and many nephews and nieces. He was born in North Oxford, the son of the late Albert and Adeline (Duso) Butler, and lived in North Oxford before moving to Worcester over 50 years ago. Mr. and Mrs. Butler would have celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary in September. Mr. Butler was a pipe-fitter for over 30 years, working mostly at Dupont Plumbing and Heating in Worcester for over 20 years, before retiring many years ago. He was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Church in Worcester. A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, April 16, 2007, at St. Ann's Church, 652 Main St., North Oxford. Burial will follow at St. Roch's Cemetery, Oxford. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main St., Worcester, MA 01603. Paradis Funeral Home, 357 Main St., Oxford, is directing the arrangements.
