Helen Waskiewicz

WEBSTER - Helen (Mitsakos) Waskiewicz, 92, of School St., died Wednesday, December 23, 2009, surrounded by her family. She is survived by her devoted husband of 68 years, Joseph V. Waskiewicz Sr. and two sons, Joseph V. Waskiewicz Jr. of Webster, and Robert J. Waskiewicz of Westford. She also leaves behind her family, Dionysia Waskiewicz of Woodstock, CT, Josephine L. Veglia of Oxford, six grandchildren, Victor, Peter, Linda, Christopher, Jessica and Samantha, and two great grandchildren, Bryanna and Nekelle; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by six siblings, James, Mary, Theodore, Amelia (Molly), Paul and Stella (Babe). She was born in New Bedford, daughter of the late John and Hariklia (Morakos) Mitsakos, and lived in Webster for most of her life. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and just being with her husband and family. A private graveside service will be held at a later date at St. Joseph's Garden of Peace in Webster.
