Helen Lucewich

Helen M. Lucewich passed peacefully in her home. She was in the presence of two of her beloved daughters, Sandra and Georgeann. Helen moved to Boynton Beach, Florida in 1982, and started a new hobby – deep sea fishing. Known as “Miss Helen” by the boat crew, she became quite the fisherwoman - even at the age of 92. Helen’s wishes were a partial sea burial and to be interred with her husband, George.

Helen is survived by her six children: Catherine LaCroix, Janice Lucewich, Patricia Hartland, Georgeann Lucewich, Sandra Lucewich, and Jeffrey Lucewich. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

A private memorial service and celebration of live for Helen will be held on July 8, 2017, at 10:00 A.M., at the North Cemetery in Oxford, Massachusetts. The cemetery’s address is: 505 Main Street, Oxford, MA 01540. After the service, a family gathering will be held.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice’s Sunshine Team. Helen was enrolled in Hospice whose service and loving care for her was greatly appreciated by the family.

The Hospice team that took care of “Miss Helen” was the Sunshine Team who were awesome. To ensure that the Sunshine Team receives donations for the care of others requiring their assistance, the following correspondence needs to be included with donations:
