Helen N. LaPrade

OXFORD – Helen N. (Rappi) LaPrade, 86, passed away on Wednesday, July 5, 2023, in her home surrounded by her family after a battle with cancer.  She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Victor J. LaPrade Jr. of Oxford; three children, Kevin LaPrade and his wife Debra, Karen LaPrade and her fiancé Scott Mellen, and Bruce LaPrade and his wife Lisa; eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.  She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Naoum and Constantina (George) Rappi, and lived in Oxford since 1971.

Helen was a homemaker for most her life, and worked various jobs over the years.  She enjoyed trips to the casino, and loved spending time with her family at gatherings and cookouts most of all.

Helen always had a smile on her face.  She was a kind and gentle person who loved spending time with family and friends.  Helen had a way about her and the ability to always brighten the lives of others.  She will be greatly missed, and she will never be forgotten.

Services will be held privately.  Burial will be at a later date at Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton.  Paradis-Givner Funeral Home in Oxford is directing the arrangements.
