Helen Lalone

WARE / OXFORD - Helen V. (Ray) Lalone, 59, of Charles St., Ware, died Sunday, August 24, 2014, at Mary Lane Hospital. She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer A. Lalone of Charlton; and her sister, Barbara O. Ray and her husband Paul Lekberg of Sterling. She was predeceased by a brother, Bernard H. Ray Jr. of Oxford, who died in 2008. She was born in Webster, the daughter of the late Bernard H. and Stella B. (Cyganiewicz) Ray, and lived in Ware for over 20 years. Helen worked in the electrical engineering department at Springfield Technical Community College in Springfield for several years. She loved horses and riding, and enjoyed German Shepherds. Friends and family are invited to attend a graveside service at 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 28, 2014, at St. Roch's Cemetery, Federal Hill Rd., Oxford. There are no calling hours.
